6月2日（木）に開催されたLCの授業の生徒感想（抜粋）を、英文も含めて紹介します。
　※LC（ラーニング・クラスター）とは、希望者による世界市民育成プログラムの１つ。　オールイングリッシュで、世界的問題を探究する。

　今日は質問の質の重要性について学びました。
　まず、質問には大きく分けて2種類あることを知りました。１つは、Closed-questionと呼ばれる、YesかNoなどで答えられる質問です。もう１つは、Open-ended questionと呼ばれるものです。これは「はい」や「いいえ」で答えることができず、回答者が自身で考えて説明しなければならない質問のことです。Open-ended questionは、相手の意見をより多く引き出せるので話し合いを発展させるにはこちらの方が好ましいそうです。質問の種類によってディスカッションをより価値あるものにできることを初めて知り、とても新鮮な学びでした。＜後略＞

Today, I learned about the significance of the quality of questions.
First, I learned there are two main types of questions. One is called a “Closed question.” It can be answered by “Yes or No.”
The other one is called an “Open-ended question.” It cannot be answered only by “Yes or No,” so people have to think more thoroughly and explore their thoughts with many words to respond to such questions. Therefore, in order to develop discussions, open-ended questions are more preferable. I learned for the first time that such types of questions can make a discussion more valuable. It was a refreshing learning experience.
