10月22日（土）、オンラインでカナダのゲルフハンバー大学との交流会を行いました。

①リサーチプランの発表②大学生の方からのアドバイス③トピックや今後のリサーチについて質疑応答、３項目についてグループに分かれて意見交換を行い、互いに学びを深めました。

生徒の感想を紹介します。

私たちのグループはテーマを「関西創価高校におけるクリティカルシンキング(批判的思考力)」と定め、それに関連するSDG #4「質の高い教育をみんなに」に焦点をあててリサーチを進めています。これから私たちは、学園内のクリティカルシンキングに関する現状を把握するため、先生方や生徒にインタビューをする予定です。大学生とのディスカッションを通して、集めた情報の活用方法、先生方にインタビューをする上での留意事項を学びました。また、学園以外の高校についても目を向け比較する大切さを学び、新しい気付きを得ることができました。更に、カナダの高校・大学での授業スタイルについて質問することができ、より一層トピックへの関心が高まりました。質疑応答やリサーチプランに対するフィードバックを通して、リサーチプランがより明確になり、これからのリサーチが更に楽しみになりました。

Personal Reflection
We had our second exchange with Guelph-Humber University online. Our group theme is “Critical Thinking in Kansai Soka High School” based on SDG No.4 “Quality Education.” Critical thinking is the action of looking at a thing from multiple and objective perspectives, not from only one point of view. In doing so, we may realize what we haven’t been aware of before. As we begin researching, we’re interviewing teachers and students about critical thinking. We hope to analyze the current situation here, such as whether the school prepares any environments where students use critical thinking. Through discussions with GH university, we have learned how to use the collected information and important points of interviews. We also realized the importance of looking at other schools for comparison. Furthermore, we asked some questions about teaching methods in Canadian schools, which made this research more interesting. This Q&A session and feedback helped us to clarify our future research.
